Juvenile Detention. Your determination and concern for the youth in our communities is inspirational to those of us in the juvenile justice field. Thursday evenings in Detention are eagerly awaited by youth who have had attended your volunteer group on Healthy Relationships. I have surveyed several youth who have attended your groups and the feedback is always very positive. The youth mention how easy it is to speak with you about issues in which they are left to only internalize normally. The youth enjoy being able to speak freely and have open conversation with yourself (law enforcement), and members of the opposite sex, regarding issues of abuse to anger management. Detention Staff appreciate your consistency and your ability to uphold Detention policy and protocol while conducting your program in our facility. Staff also feel Healthy Relationships is amongst the top volunteer program we have in place. We are very fortunate to have your services and look forward to providing you and your excellent curriculum a permanent place in our program schedule.
